When we are doing something new for the first time we feel insecure as we don’t know how it works, we experience the dilemma in taking decisions. We know that we are not the only one doing it for the first time, as we see the same being done by others. It happens until we get the confidence. Experience counts, as and how we get experienced, we start to learn how it works and we tend to get the confidence.
Let’s look at a simple example, when we are trying to learn how to swim. The situation is somewhat like, we cannot learn how to swim until and unless we get into the water pool and we don’t want to enter into the water pool as we are afraid and still trying to learn how to swim. We certainly take the necessary precautions so that we don’t get hurt, at the same time we need to have the strength, courage and wisdom to take a bold first step to enter into it. It differs from one person to another, how quick we learn. It also depends on many other factors like, how good is the coach who is teaching, how deep is the water pool, etc, etc.
We can see many similar examples like, when we are learning how to ride a bicycle, when we are learning how to drive a four wheeler, when we are learning how to be independent and stay away from our loved ones, and many more. We can almost see this happening all the time in our lives.
